Game of Life.....

There once lived a wise man in a village. So it hurt him very much
when the village headman told him,  "Your son doesn't know, what's
      more valuable, gold or silver."

The wise man called his son and asked, "What is more valuable - gold
      or silver?"

      Gold," said the son.

"That is correct. Why is it then that the village headman makes fun
of you & claims you do not know the value of gold or silver? Explain
this to me, son." Father asked.

So the son told "Every day on my way to school, the village headman
calls me to his house. He holds out a silver coin in one hand and a
gold coin in other. He asks me to pick up the more valuable coin. I
pick the silver coin. He laughs & makes fun of me. And then I go to
school. This happens every day. That is why he told you."

The father was confused. "Why don't you pick up the gold coin?" he
asked. In response, the son took the father to his room and showed
him a box. In the box had at least a hundred silver coins. Turning to
his father, the son said, "The day I pick up the gold coin the game
will stop. Village headman will stop having fun and I will stop
      making money."

Moral : Sometimes in life, we have to play the fool. That does not
mean we lose in the game of life. It just means allowing others to
win in one arena of the game, while we win in the other arena of the
game. We have to choose which arena matters to us most.

Transforming Reaction To Response......

In its original form, anger was not anger, not a negative reaction; rather it was the energy of a positive response to people and situations, but the response gradually changed to reaction.

When we return to our spiritual identity, we begin to rediscover that capacity to be still, stable or centered, and we are able to respond positively even to negative situations, or people.

With spiritual consciousness, the energy of this negative reaction is transformed into being able to accept, understand and deal wisely and peacefully with whoever, or whatever, is encountered.

In order to extinguish (overcome) anger, one has to use peace and silence, to understand that peace is the original state of one's being; to remember that 'I am a peaceful being' means to emerge the consciousness of non-violence.

Silence, that is learning to put a brake on the mind and tongue, helps us to think before speaking and, as a result, saves us from many confrontations with others.

My Wife DOES NOT WORK !!!

Conversation between a Husband (H) and a Psychologist (P):

P : What do you do for a living Mr Bandy ?
H : I work as an Accountant in a Bank.

P : Your Wife ?
H : She doesn't work. She's a Housewife only.

P : Who makes breakfast for your family in the morning?
H : My Wife, because she doesn't work.

P : At what time does your wife wake up for making breakfast?
H : She wakes up at around 5 am because she cleans the house first before making breakfast.

P : How do your kids go to school?
H : My wife takes them to school, because she doesn't work.

P : After taking your kids to school, what does she do ?
H : She goes to the market, then goes back home for cooking and laundry. You know, she doesn't work.

P : In the evening, after you go back home from office, what do you do ?
H : Take rest, because I'm tired due to all day work.

P : What does your wife do then ?
H : She prepares meals, serving our kids, preparing meals for me and cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house, then taking kids to bed.

Who do you think works more, from the story above ???

The daily routines of your wives commence from early morning to late night. That is called 'DOESN'T WORK' ??!!

Yes, Being Home-makers do not need Certificate of Study, even High Position, but their ROLE/PART is very important!

Appreciate your wives. Because their sacrifices are uncountable.
This should be a reminder and reflection for all of us to understand and appreciate each other’s roles.

Be Positve & Spread Positive Energy......

The thoughts people create about us will always reach us.
Any wrong karma, invites negative energy from people towards us.
If people are jealous of us, they will create negative thoughts for us. If we create fear, then we are creating negative energy and we will become vulnerable to consuming their negativity.
Be compassionate for them, they are jealous because they have achieved less than us. If we understand their pain and create pure thoughts for them, it will become a protective shield for us.
If someone sends us negative energy, let us remember there are also a lot of people who send us blessings and pure energy. Focus your attention on the positive energy, influence of the negative will reduce.
If we create critical thoughts about the other person but speak very sweet words, we are still sending them negative vibrations. Slow down this inner conversation, because it blocks our natural energy of happiness and love.
Irrespective of the karma that the other person does, always remember they are a pure, beautiful soul. This consciousness keeps our flow of love natural and radiates respect to them.

When we have to give a correction for someone’s mistake, it has to be given with vibration of love. Negative energy from us, makes them justify their mistake and then not correct it.
Anger attacks the person and talks about the past.
Assertiveness talks about the mistake and solution for the future.

Spirituality - ACCEPTING that whatever happens is the best for this moment.

Positive thinking is not about EXPECTING the best to happen every time, but ACCEPTING that whatever happens is the best for this moment.

Positive thinking means right thinking at every moment. Visualizing the best to happen, but then accepting the result and creating the right thoughts irrespective of what the outcome may be.

Positive thinking does not mean what will happen, will be the best; it means whatever will happen, will be accurate for me; according to my sanskars and past karmic accounts.

Accepting the outcome of the situation, keeps us stable at that moment. We retain the strength, confidence and motivation to put in our best in the next moment.

When someone has made a mistake, they are in pain. We feel they have done wrong, and we are in pain because of their mistake. Truth is they are in more pain than anyone else.

The one who has made a mistake creates guilt, low self confidence, low self esteem, fear of rejection and insecurity of future. If we create anger, hurt and hatred then we are increasing their pain many folds. They need love and acceptance to heal their pain.

A person goes towards any substance addiction because either they are deprived of love; or crisis in life; or low self esteem and seeking public approval for feeling good. Help them to heal the pain in order to give up the addiction.

The intention should be reformation not punishment. Anger gives punishment, depletes the energy of the one who has made a mistake.  Love empowers them and brings about reformation.

Spirituality - Two souls are different, not right or wrong......!!

Two souls are different, not right or wrong....
When the other person is right according to their perspective and we feel they are wrong, conflict has begun. Two souls are different, not right or wrong. Each is always right from their perspective.

Empathy means to detach from your own perspective and see the situation from the perspective of the other person. This creates understanding and compassion.

Even if we cannot understand the other persons perspective, let us always remember that what they are saying is the truth for them. This is the first step towards conflict resolution.

Accept your negative sanskar or the sanskar of the other person. Acceptance means no negative thoughts and energy of love keeps flowing. This love and power helps to create a new sanskar. Acceptance is the first step to Realization and Transformation.

If there is a strain in any relationship, then definitely we are creating wrong quality of thoughts for them. We need to clean our thoughts; else even the best words and behavior will not get the right result.

To begin healing any relationship, do not focus on their behavior, words or what they think about us. Let us take care that we are creating the right thoughts and behavior towards them. If one person changes, it will influence the other and healing begins.

When we are adjusting to sanskars of the other person, we need to remember, they are also adjusting with our sanskars. Two souls will always have different sanskars and will find the others sanskars uncomfortable.

Accept the other persons sanskar, which means remain stable. Now help them to create a new sanskar and give them time to do it.

Rising Above The Look Of The Other

We have to trust that, being ourselves, we will be well-received and loved by the world. If we are here, why have we been incarnated on Earth? To satisfy the look of the other or to bring what is unique and exceptional in us? We all have two eyes, a nose and a mouth but no face is the same. We are all a being of conscious energy, a soul, but each one has a color, an art, a creativity and something different to contribute. Let us trust in ourselves and use our talents to bring our difference.

You can be your best friend. Imagine that someone accompanies you in your life, values everything that you do and finds it to be great: what you do, what you say; you are the best; extraordinary; a shining being; a star. Now imagine that you have that person next to you day and night. How do you feel? On top form and you are fine. This happens in relationships. When someone loves you very much, they practically only think about you; they ring you, they send you text messages, maybe they write you letters or emails. You feel unique, special and loved. But this does not last forever and, nowadays, it lasts less and less. The difficulty is that if you depend on the look of the other to feel fine, sometimes you will be fine if the person looking at you does it well, but if not, you won't be fine.

How do you look at yourself? This unconditional friend that loves you so much and that supports you is what you have inside. You can be your best friend. This gives you security and trust. If someone else likes you or doesn't like you and criticizes you, you won't collapse within because to be fine you do not depend on the look of the other.

Saleswoman

A man was known among his friends to be very brief and to the point -
he really never said too much.
One day, a saleswoman promoting a certain brand of cosmetics knocked on his door and asked to see his wife.
The man told her that his wife wasn't home. "Well," replied the saleswoman, "could I please wait for her?"
The man directed her to the drawing room and left her there for more than three hours.
The saleswoman was getting really worried, so she called out to the man and asked,
"May I know where your wife is?"
"She went to the cemetery," he replied.
"And when is she returning?"
"I don't really know," he said. "She's been there eleven years now."

Keep Smiling.. :) :)

Six Thinking Hats!!!!!

'Six Thinking Hats' is an important and powerful technique. It is used to look at decisions
from a number of important perspectives. This forces you to move outside your habitual
thinking style, and helps you to get a more rounded view of a situation.
Each 'Thinking Hat' is a different style of thinking. These are explained below:

White Hat:
With this thinking hat you focus on the data available. Look at the information you have,
and see what you can learn from it. Look for gaps in your knowledge, and either try to fill
them or take account of them. This is where you analyze past trends, and try to extrapolate
from historical data.

Red Hat:
'Wearing' the red hat, you look at problems using intuition, gut reaction, and emotion.
Also try to think how other people will react emotionally. Try to understand the responses
of people who do not fully know your reasoning.

Black Hat:
Using black hat thinking, look at all the bad points of the decision. Look at it cautiously
and defensively. Try to see why it might not work. This is important because it highlights
the weak points in a plan. It allows you to eliminate them, alter them, or prepare
contingency plans to counter them.

Black Hat thinking helps to make your plans 'tougher' and more resilient. It can also help
you to spot fatal flaws and risks before you embark on a course of action. Black Hat
thinking is one of the real benefits of this technique, as many successful people get so
used to thinking positively that often they cannot see problems in advance. This leaves
them under-prepared for difficulties.

Yellow Hat:
The yellow hat helps you to think positively. It is the optimistic viewpoint that helps you
to see all the benefits of the decision and the value in it. Yellow Hat thinking helps you
to keep going when everything looks gloomy and difficult.

Green Hat:
The Green Hat stands for creativity. This is where you can develop creative solutions to a
problem. It is a freewheeling way of thinking, in which there is little criticism of ideas.
A whole range of creativity tools can help you here.

Blue Hat:
The Blue Hat stands for process control. This is the hat worn by people chairing meetings.
When running into difficulties because ideas are running dry, they may direct activity into

Green Hat thinking. When contingency plans are needed, they will ask for Black Hat
thinking, etc.

A variant of this technique is to look at problems from the point of view of different
professionals (e.g. doctors, architects, sales directors, etc.) or different customers.

THINK POSITIVE ALWAYS...........

Heavy rains remind us of challenges in life.
Don’t ask for lighter rain. Just try for a better umbrella. -
That's Attitude towards Life!!!

When flood comes, fish eat ants and when flood recedes, ants eat fish. -Only time matters.
Just hold on, God gives opportunity to all !!!

Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship,
it ' s not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end!!!!

Some people always throw stones in your path.
It depends on you what you make with them. A Wall or a Bridge? -
Remember you are the architect of your life!!!!

Search for a beautiful heart, but don't search for a beautiful face. Because....
beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful!!!!

Its not important to hold all the good cards in life.
But its important how well you play with the cards you hold!!!!

Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end,
God smiles from above and says, ' relax dear its just a bend, not the end. ' -
Have faith and have a successful life!!!!

One of the basic differences between God and human is,
God gives, gives and forgives.
But the human gets, gets, gets and forgets!!!!

Be thankful in life....always...to GOD and to all !!!!
Live your life, it is yours.................

Cheers...

God's Coffee........

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned
with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic,
glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite -
telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:

"If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving
behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only
the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases
it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously
went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in
society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the
type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we
live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee
God has provided us."

God brews the coffee, not the cups.......... Enjoy your coffee!

"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the
best of everything."

Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.
Leave the rest to COSMOS

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE MAGIC!!!!

Some interesting facts about hydrogen peroxide:
  • It is found in all living material.
  • Your white blood cells naturally produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to fight bacteria and infections.
  • Fruit and vegetables naturally produce hydrogen peroxide. This is one of the reasons why it is so healthy to eat fresh fruit and vegetables.
  •  It is found in massive dosages in the mother’s first milk, called colostrum, and is transferred to the baby to boost their immune system.
  •  It is found in rain water because some of the H20 in the atmosphere receives an additional oxygen atom from the ozone (O3) and this H2O2 makes plants grow faster.
  • Next to Apple Cider Vinegar, hydrogen peroxide ranks up there as one of the best household remedies.
  • Besides the obvious (cleansing wounds), did you know that it is probably the best remedy to dissolve ear wax? Brighten dingy floors? Add natural highlights to your hair? Improve your plants root systems? The list goes on and on!
  • There are SO many uses for this stuff that I’ve started replacing the cap on the hydrogen peroxide bottle with a sprayer because it’s easier and faster to use that way.
  • I have compiled a rather impressive list of uses for 3% hydrogen peroxide that I hope will have you as thrilled and bewildered as I was!
  • Wash vegetables and fruits with hydrogen peroxide to remove dirt and pesticides. Add 1/4 cup of H2O2 to a sink of cold water. After washing, rinse thoroughly with cool water.
  • In the dishwasher, add 2 oz. to your regular detergent for a sanitizing boost. Also, beef up your regular dish soap by adding roughly 2 ounces of 3% H2O2 to the bottle.
  • Use hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash to freshen breath. It kills the bacteria that causes halitosis. Use a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water.
  • Use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to make a paste for brushing teeth. Helps with early stages of gingivitis as it kills bacteria. Mixed with salt and baking soda, hydrogen peroxide works as a whitening toothpaste.
  • Soak your toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide between uses to keep it clean and prevent the transfer of germs. This is particularly helpful when you or someone in your family has a cold or the flu.
  • Clean your cutting board and counter top. Let everything bubble for a few minutes, then scrub and rinse clean. (I’ve been using it for this a LOT lately!)
  • Wipe out your refrigerator and dishwasher. Because it’s non-toxic, it’s great for cleaning places that store food and dishes.
  • Clean your sponges. Soak them for 10 minutes in a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and warm water in a shallow dish. Rinse the sponges thoroughly afterward.
  • Remove baked-on crud from pots and pans. Combine hydrogen peroxide with enough baking soda to make a paste, then rub onto the dirty pan and let it sit for a while. Come back later with a scrubby sponge and some warm water, and the baked-on stains will lift right off.
  • Whiten bathtub grout. First dry the tub thoroughly, then spray it liberally with hydrogen peroxide. Let it sit — it may bubble slightly — for a little while, then come back and scrub the grout with an old toothbrush. You may have to repeat the process a few times.
  • Clean the toilet bowl. Pour half a cup of hydrogen peroxide into the toilet bowl, let stand for 20 minutes, then scrub clean.
  • Remove stains from clothing, curtains, and tablecloths. Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a pre-treater for stains — just soak the stain for a little while in 3% hydrogen peroxide before tossing into the laundry. You can also add a cup of peroxide to a regular load of whites to boost brightness. It’s a green alternative to bleach, and works just as well.
  • Brighten dingy floors. Combine half a cup of hydrogen peroxide with one gallon of hot water, then go to town on your flooring. Because it’s so mild, it’s safe for any floor type, and there’s no need to rinse.
  • Clean kids’ toys and play areas. Hydrogen peroxide is a safe cleaner to use around kids, or anyone with respiratory problems, because it’s not a lung irritant. Spray toys, toy boxes, doorknobs, and anything else your kids touch on a regular basis.
  • Help out your plants. To ward off fungus, add a little hydrogen peroxide to your spray bottle the next time you’re spritzing plants.
  • Add natural highlights to your hair. Dilute the hydrogen peroxide so the solution is 50% peroxide and 50% water. Spray the solution on wet hair to create subtle, natural highlights.
  • According to alternative therapy practitioners, adding half a bottle of hydrogen peroxide to a warm bath can help detoxify the body. Some are skeptical of this claim, but a bath is always a nice way to relax and the addition of hydrogen peroxide will leave you – and the tub – squeaky clean!
  • Spray a solution of 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide on leftover salad, drain, cover and refrigerate. This will prevent wilting and better preserve your salad.
  • Sanitize your kids’ lunch boxes/bags.
  • Dab hydrogen peroxide on pimples or acne to help clear skin.
  • Hydrogen peroxide helps to sprout seeds for new plantings. Use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution once a day and spritz the seed every time you re-moisten. You can also use a mixture of 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 32 parts water to improve your plants’ root system.
  • Remove yellowing from lace curtains or tablecloths. Fill a sink with cold water and a 2 cups of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Soak for at least an hour, rinse in cold water and air dry.
  • Use it to remove ear wax. Use a solution of 3% with olive or almond oil. Add a couple drops of oil first then H2O2. After a few minutes, tilt head to remove solution and wax.
  • Helps with foot fungus. Spray a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry. Or try soaking your feet in a peroxide solution to help soften calluses and corns, and disinfect minor cuts.
  • Spray down the shower with hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria and viruses.
  • Use 1 pint of 3% hydrogen peroxide to a gallon of water to clean humidifiers and steamers.
  • Wash shower curtains with hydrogen peroxide to remove mildew and soap scum. Place curtains in machine with a bath towel and your regular detergent. Add 1 cup full strength 3% hydrogen peroxide to the rinse cycle.
  • Use for towels that have become musty smelling. 1/2 cup Peroxide and 1/2 cup vinegar let stand for 15 minutes wash as normal. Gets rid of the smell.
  • Use hydrogen peroxide to control fungi present in aquariums. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt your fish. Use sparingly for this purpose.
  • De-skunking solution. Combine 1 quart 3% H2O2, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1 teaspoon Dawn dish detergent, 2 quarts warm water.

Hydrogen peroxide should really be called oxygen water, since it is basically the same chemical make up as water but with an extra oxygen atom (H2O2). Because of this it breaks down quickly and harmlessly into oxygen and water.
This stuff is amazingly versatile! It’s safe, it’s readily available, it’s cheap, and best of all, it WORKS! It works for a LOT of stuff!

Very Useful information meant to be shared... :) :)
